Qualified in 1996. I have worked in cancer and palliative care since 1998 and took up the role as Sarcoma CNS in 2008.
I see all patients diagnosed with sarcoma at the point of diagnosis and remain their key worker throughout.
Other commitments include running the East Midlands Sarcoma Support Group, held monthly.
I currently Chair the National Sarcoma Forum for sarcoma specialist nurses and allied health care professionals.
Recently become a Board member for the British Sarcoma Group.
I have an interest in service improvement and care delivery involved in – developing a patient information pathway, patient satisfaction audit, ambulatory sarcoma chemotherapy, wellbeing and survivorship, end of treatment consultation.
Run Nurse led Sarcoma follow-up clinics at Leicester.
Work closely with research and clinical trials team.

I have worked within oncology for 12 years and am trained in administering chemotherapy.I have been a Research Sister,Ward Sister and have worked within the Palliative Care setting also.
I have been working in Nottingham for 2 years now and am the Keyworker for patints with bone and soft tissue sarcomas.
I support patients throughout each aspect of their cancer journey.

As well as Macmillan Sarcoma CNS , I am Macmillan Neuro-Oncology and Cancer of Unknown Primary CNS
Qualified in 2000, Worked in Oncology for last 12 years, Staff Nurse and then Junior Sister on Waddington Unit at L.C.H.(formerly Wragby Ward). Initially was an Onology ward but then merged with Haematology.
Have been in this post for 2years, it was a commisioned post and is a new service for Lincolnshire.
The sky- dive raised £740 for charities that give special days out for my patients.

I provide specialist physiotherapy input through all stages of the patient pathway, particularly pre- and post- operatively, during chemotherapy and radiotherapy and into survivorship or palliation. My role also encompasses being a keyworker for patients, research to improve rehabilitation for sarcoma patients and education and support for other health care professionals.
